Hot Stone
My hot stone treatment is very unique. First, my stones have been hand-picked from different locations around the world; they were not bought as a set. I don’t just place a few stones here and there; your whole body will be warmed by the stones - some will be placement stones that are static on trigger points and chakras while other stones are part of the massage movement. No stone is used twice during the massage, so your last stone will be as hot as your first stone. Especially great in the cold winter!

Reflexology
This indulgent treatment includes hot towels, invigorating foot spray, exfoliating scrub, and cooling peppermint lotion. Reflexology uses maps of predefined pressure points that are located on the feet. These pressure points are reputed to connect directly through the nervous system and affect the bodily organs and glands. Any part of the body that is the source of pain can be strengthened through the application of pressure at the respective foot location. Especially great for summer sandal feet!

Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage builds on Swedish massage, employing many of its basic strokes, but applying more pressure and slower, focused strokes to work into deeper layers of muscle, fascia, and connective tissue. It is effective for chronic muscular tension.

Swedish
The specific techniques used in Swedish massage involve the application of long, gliding strokes, friction, and kneading and tapping movements of the soft tissues of the body. It involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles. Sometimes passive or active joint movements are also used. The benefits of Swedish massage include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension, and improved range of motion. It also improves lymphatic drainage of metabolic wastes.
